On the term, "Spokeslut" and how it was meant to shame me for my slutty nature. (I’m just some bimbo that is so brainwashed by the patriarchy that I cannot see how fucked up the image I created is.)

I thought I would write my own personal slut manifesto. A declaration of how I want to live my life. I thought it might provide some inspiration or at least clarification for the rest of you out there. So here it is:

I will have as much or as little sex as I want, with whomever I am mutually attracted to, regardless of race, adult age or gender identity. This will fluctuate throughout my life and I will not feel bad for having more sex or less sex than is usual for myself, or whatever amount society wants to deem is correct. In my sexual interactions, I will always strive to be honest, open, and fulfill my desires as well as my partners, regardless of if they last for many years or just a few minutes. I will not lie or feel shame about my desire to have sex with many people. I will express my sexuality in whatever way I feel fit for me at that point in time, whether it be femme, butch  or any of the rainbow of other shades. I accept that this is influenced by many things, including the patriarchy we live in, but not solely. I will use my voice and my actions to disrupt pre and misconceptions of that sexuality.  I will not fall into the duality of madonna or whore. I am a whole person with many facets. As a sexual being, many of those facets have to do with my sexuality, but it is not the only way I will be valued.

Science Friction in Bristol

Whew that was refreshing!  We at Bike Smut have been enjoying the longest break from screenings in 8 years!  From November to April we have only been riding bikes, having sex and sometimes not at the same time and frequently not documenting it! What a mind fuck!

But as enjoyable as this vacation from perpetual traveling and sharing radical, DIY, bike pornography we are delighted to be working on a series of shows in California and across Western Europe! Moreover this is our last year of touring Bike Smut so its about time we started sharing the smut while it is good and hot!



First up is the lovely city of Bristol, England. Located on the west coast of the Atlantic it features a temperate climate with lots of exciting topography. Still that doesn't stop the cyclists from putting the fun between their legs!

Our first time in Bristol was a madhouse! It included a massive minibike racing playground, Minotaur and other bands, DJs, dance parties, live nude on bike drawing, and a original dance performance by Les Velobici! The weekend was captured by the dedicated Captain Bike Beard who has been tickling the various bicycle punk sub cultures of Europe for many years.

Media Monday: Getting Our Bone Shaker On

We were immediately taken with the folks in Bristol. From organizing a 24 hour mini bike criterium to  throwing down their own mini bike dance performances by Les VeloBici we got nothing but bike love for those talented artists. On the front lines of graphic images, BoneShaker Magazine helped bring all the joy together.

We felt at home basking in the bikepunk joy of having our organizers craft a crazy, adult-themed, mini-bike playground in the venue where we got to share porn and watch a weekend of excellent performances.



Back home on the US West Coast, we were tickled that writer and up–and–coming  bikesexual Rachel Jones got exposed to our our run of shows around LA and was so motivated by our program, "The Orgasm Trail" that she was determined to help share the good news. But we really got excited when we learned that Boneshaker Magazine would be publishing her article in their rather impressive quarterly publication! Plus it doesn't hurt that Ms Jones was able to evoke the ideas and intentions so passionately!!

Women weren’t allowed to ride bicycles because it supposedly would turn them on. 'Saddle sniffers' was a big thing. The bicycle changed the way women dressed - bloomers were invented for the bicycle, women could wear pants.


Poppy points me to the work of Susan B. Anthony, our lady of the American silver dollar, who said, “I think the bicycle has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives a woman a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. The moment she takes her seat she knows she can't get into harm unless she gets off her bicycle, and away she goes, the picture of free, untrammeled womanhood." Paraphrasing Anthony, Poppy embellishes, “Women were able to take control of their transportation. Able to explore larger gene pools. Freedom machines!”

ArtWank! exists to educate, entertain and enliven! ArtWank is expressively explicit and extremely expletive! Apparently a lot of artful alliteration via ArtWank!

Our friends in the UK are pretty clever and not unlike us are doing amazing things with very little. Give them a little more if you can.

International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers

What happens when you take a Italian sex worker and find her in a Czech Republic gender fucking festival, in a Dutch bike punk kitchen in Berlin, and finally bring her some some inspiring porn to her London home in the swingingest queer bar in the UK?

After an extended 4 day vacation due to vast northern UK lameness (centered in Liverpool) our team of bikesexuals figured they would be able to plow through the rest of the UK without any trouble. Bike Smut gets schooled

Let us cast our minds back, if you will, to the days when bike porn was but still a traveling collection of illuminated manuscripts concerning the sexual adventures relevant to horse-drawn carts.
























It was in the year of our Lord 1209 that Oxford students first began "taking refuge from hostile townsmen" by running off to the quiet town of Cambridge to carry on their explorations of heady medieval theory, thus seeding the University of Cambridge. So Bike Smut finds itself treading the well-worn paths of history, traveling to Cambridge to practice our art after being spurned by the Oxford townspeople. While our Oxford experience may not rise to the scale of the St. Scholastica Day Riot, we did find our planned show blocked by a consensus-based meeting of otherwise charming young squatters (sparkle-finger-wavers will be the first up against the wall when us Nightmare Communists have our revolution).

So, now Cambridge! Now spurning the City of Dreaming Spires, we move on to the City of Lusting Bicycles. Bike porn is now en route to ReWorks, Cambridge's community bike, art and sustainability DIY space. We expect:

Rapture and Ruin, the past and future of the UK Bikesexual

We have had a pretty stunning stream of badass media promotions and reviews. From Malmo's stunning 3 page cover story to the First Day's ass-ess-ment of our first UK show, we have been basking in the glory of great media.

Then we came north and things have seemed to gone to hell. Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham, and Glasgow have all tried to turn our uplifting program of short, erotic movies into a vapid, scat fest.

United Kockdom Premiere

KAZAAM! We are not even across the English Channel yet and already London's bicycle underground is vibrating with the power of 1000 tremulous clits!
